HELSINKI (EuroBasket 2015) - In less than two months, Finland will run onto the floor in Montpellier, France, to launch their third straight EuroBasket campaign.
The Finns, having finished ninth at the previous two tournaments in Lithuania and Slovenia, are looking to advance to the knockout round this time.
One indicator of the Susijengi's emergence as one of the most competitive teams in Europe is that top sides want to play them in the build-up to major events.
The country's basketball federation has announced that France will play Finland in Tampere on 1 August.
They will, indeed, be battle-tested by the start of the EuroBasket because after the clash with Les Bleus - who are one of the Finns' Group A opponents at the 24-team event - Henrik Dettmann's side will square off against Lithuania one week later in Alytus.
